Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At Fishful Thinker, every item is made just for you when you place your order. That means we don’t keep inventory sitting on shelves and it also means returns are a bit different than your typical retail shop.

We appreciate your support more than you know! Your purchase helps us keep sharing never-before-seen footage and stories from the water. 🎣

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or incorrect, we’ll absolutely make it right.

  • Please contact us within 30 days of delivery
  • Include your order number and a photo of the issue
  • We’ll send a replacement or issue a refund at no cost to you

Lost Packages

If your package seems to be lost in transit, reach out within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and we’ll help track it down or replace it.

Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, for example, masks and neck gaitors.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Because all items are made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Incorrect size selection
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Preference changes (color, style, fit, etc.)

We strongly recommend checking sizing charts and product details before ordering. If you’re unsure, just ask and we’ll help you choose.

Wrong Address or Unclaimed Packages

If an order is returned due to:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address
  • The package not being claimed

You’ll be responsible for the cost of reshipping the item.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@fishfulthinker.com.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
